Laser Treatment for Gentle Veins

The treatment for gentle veins is similar to the treatment of the Greater Saphenous Veins. While connected to a laser machine, gentle optical fibers are inserted to the smaller diameter veins through a tiny skin nick. The energy being used is low. Once the treatment is over, the leg has to be wrapped with a bandage, and returning to a full, daily activity is immediate.Success Rate: 70-80% pending on the diameter of the vein.

Recovery Time: 24-48 hours, returning to full activity right after the treatment is over.

Risks: Itching that lasts for roughly 2 weeks.
