Conservative treatment
The elastic stocking applies pressure on the veins preventing them from swelling and filling with blood. During the summer months it is not always comfortable to walk around with the stocking. It is possible to purchase elastic stocking measured either by length or by different pressuring options. When measured, it is important to determine precisely how swollen the leg is, since the level of pressure applied by the stocking is set accordingly. It is possible to wear elastic stocking during the waiting stage for a regular vein treatment. In a case of a chronicle vein disease with an injury subjected to the deep vein system, the elastic socking has proven to be the main treatment option for many years.
