Edema
There are many reasons for the appearance of leg-edema: heart failure, lack of protein, lymphedema and damage to the veins in the legs.
Edema in the legs, based on varicose veins, is originated in the unsuccessful return of the venous blood into the heart due to the failure of the veins.
Continuingly, a liquid passage appears through the side of the damaged vein into the tissues, mostly around the hips. The edema gets worse in the end of the day after extensive standing, but decreases after resting (morning hours or post walking with elastic socks)
