Capillary Blood Vessels
The capillaries constitute an aesthetic disorder that is located several microns under the skin. At times, such capillaries feed themselves by reticular veins (deep capillaries) which are also an aesthetic disorder. These capillaries appear as a gentle net, in a red or blue color. The treatment is done under a magnifying glass and consists of gently injecting a solution (similar to alcohol) that damages the sides of the capillaries. Post injection, the reaction of the capillaries and the reticular veins is immediate shrinkage, followed by closure and disappearance. The treatment has to be repeated several times when large areas are treated. Once the treatment is over, the region must be wrapped under a bandage for several days, according to the solution’s concentration level.
Success Rate: 80-90 PercentRecovery Time: Full absorption of the capillaries in just several days or weeks
Risks: brownish discolorations can appear around the treated area, which will disappear after a period of several days to weeks.
